About Meadow Outdoor Advertising

For more than 40 years, Meadow Outdoor Advertising has helped businesses and organizations reach their audiences through creative, effective outdoor advertising. From small-town campaigns to regional brand launches, our billboards make an impact where it matters most, in the communities we serve.

This is a hands-on, relationship-driven role where you’ll meet face-to-face with local business owners, marketers, and decision-makers to develop tailored traditional and digital billboard advertising solutions.

You’ll manage the entire sales process, from prospecting and presentations to contract negotiation and campaign launch, while working closely with our internal creative and operations teams to bring each client’s vision to life.

Note: This position includes regular travel within the entire Meadow territory to meet clients, evaluate billboard locations, and attend community or networking events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a sales plan to achieve and exceed monthly and annual revenue goals.
  • Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities with local and regional advertisers.
  • Create persuasive sales presentations and proposals tailored to each client’s goals.
  • Collaborate with the design team to ensure creative concepts meet client needs and brand standards.
  • Track and manage leads, activities, and opportunities using Meadow’s CRM system.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and local market developments.
  • Actively represent Meadow in the community through business events, networking, and local partnerships.
  • Maintain professionalism and enthusiasm as a trusted brand ambassador.

What You Bring

  • 2–5 years of outside sales experience (advertising preferred).
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • A proactive, goal-oriented mindset and a genuine enthusiasm for helping clients succeed.
  • Confidence in prospecting and closing deals while maintaining integrity and transparency.
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and follow-up skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred.

Why You’ll Love Working with Meadow

  • Be part of a family-owned company that values integrity, creativity, and teamwork.
  • See your work make a visible difference in communities across your territory.
  • Collaborate with a supportive team that celebrates wins and shares knowledge.
  • A competitive, commission-based compensation program.
  • Comprehensive benefits package including [health, dental, vision, 401(k), etc.].
  • Ongoing training and professional growth opportunities.

Additional Details

  • Reports To: General Sales Manager
  • Work Environment: Combination of office, field, and remote work.
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with flexibility for client meetings and travel.
  • Employment Offer – Is contingent upon passing a criminal and DMV background check.
