Job description

As an Accounting Services Intern, you will join a collaborative and supportive team environment where you’ll assist with accounting and consulting engagements while gaining meaningful, hands-on experience. Our internship program includes comprehensive onboarding and on-the-job training designed to help you build confidence and develop your skills. We take pride in delivering exceptional client service and are committed to investing in our people, with many of our team members growing their careers with us.

Position Type: Internship

Location: San Antonio, and surrounding areas, travel may be required

Qualifications:

  • Accounting major with a minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred
  • Undergraduate degree completed prior to start of internship or in the final year of undergraduate degree plan
  • Actively working toward meeting education requirement for CPA certification and plans in place to facilitate passing the CPA exams
  • Experience with QuickBooks Online, preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word 
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Travel may be required

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support on accounting and consulting engagements
  • Assist team members in all aspects of client engagements including account reconciliations, general ledger entries, analytics and forecasting
  • Other duties as needed and assigned 

Expectations:

  • Be knowledgeable on a first-year staff level by the conclusion of the internship
  • At conclusion of internship there may be an opportunity for a full-time permanent position with the firm
