Why: This is a succession-planning opportunity designed for someone who wants to grow into an expanded accounting leadership role over time. Office Environment: Highly collaborative office where you'll work closely with executive leadership and experienced accounting professionals. Salary: $55,000–$65,000 annually, with flexibility for candidates who bring exceptional construction accounting experience. Position Overview Our client is looking for an accounting professional who understands that construction accounts payable is much more than processing invoices. This role requires someone with a solid foundation in construction accounting who can manage vendor compliance, job costing, and payment processes while growing into broader accounting responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Process approximately 300 construction-related invoices per month. Manage the full construction accounts payable process. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. 2–5+ years of accounting experience. Construction accounting experience is required. Strong knowledge of: Construction job cost accounting Lien waivers Certificates of Insurance (COIs) Paid-when-paid payment processes Vendor compliance Construction accounts payable workflows Experience with QuickBooks Enterprise is preferred.
