Job description

Department: Accounting

Location: Naples Corporate Office

Position Type: Full-Time, Salaried Exempt

Please note that this is an in-office position that is located exclusively out of our corporate office in Naples, Florida.

Position Summary

The Accounting Manager oversees the day-to-day accounting operations of Zoom Tan and is responsible for ensuring accurate financial records, timely reporting, and effective accounting processes. This position manages key accounting functions, supports the Accounting team, and works closely with leadership to maintain strong financial controls and provide reliable financial information.

Responsibilities & Duties
  • Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account reconciliations.
  • Manage monthly, quarterly, and yearend closing processes.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, reports, journal entries, and supporting schedules.
  • Review bank and balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate financial records across multiple locations and business entities.
  • Develop and maintain accounting procedures and internal financial controls.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, audits, tax filings, and other financial reporting requirements.
  • Analyze financial results and communicate significant trends or variances to leadership.
  • Supervise, train, and support Accounting Department employees.
  • Review accounting staff work for accuracy, completeness, and timely completion.
  • Partner with other departments to address accounting and financial needs.
  • Identify opportunities to improve, streamline, and automate accounting processes.
  • Perform additional accounting and financial responsibilities as assigned.
  • Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of accounting experience preferred.
  • Experience working with NetSuite preferred; strong working knowledge of NetSuite accounting and financial reporting functions preferred.
  • Previous supervisory or accounting leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
  • Multilocation or multientity accounting experience is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problemsolving skills.
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, confidentiality, and professionalism.
