Are you a tax professional who enjoys the challenge of sophisticated, the pace of tax season, and the satisfaction that comes when it all comes together? Do you appreciate that great tax advice and service are incredibly valuable to high-net-worth clients? If so, you may be a great fit for our Raleigh Tax team.
We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly organized professional who enjoys administrative and data-focused work, takes pride in accuracy, and thrives in a collaborative team environment. The ideal candidate brings a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to build strong working relationships with both peers and internal stakeholders.

Primary Responsibilities:

Support tax team on client matters, including:

  • Perform detailed data entry and maintain accurate client and tax return information across internal systems.

  • Process completed tax returns and prepare final deliverables for distribution to clients in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Answer client questions and respond to client inquiries, providing superior service and ensuring successful resolution of client needs.

  • Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, accuracy, and overall team effectiveness.

  • Collaborate with team members to support workflow management and ensure deadlines are met during peak tax season.

  • Other tasks and special projects as needed.


Required Qualifications:

  • Associate or Bachelor's Degree preferred. (Finance or Accounting majors preferred)

  • Proficiency inUltraTax tax preparation softwarestrongly preferred,

  • 0-3 years of work experience in financial industry, tax and/or related field

  • Strong attention to detail, exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to organize and prioritize work in order to meet deadlines in a proactive manner with little supervision required

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, professional presentation, and organizational skills.

  • Evidence of excellent interpersonal skills in dealing with staff and clients

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SurePrep, UltraTax, Fixed Assets CS and tax research experience a plus

Skills & Competencies:

  • Demonstrate strong and effective communication, organizational and time management skills.

  • Ability to work in a team based/collaborative environment.

  • Must accept and thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment.
