Accounting Associate

Named by The Boston Globe as one of the Top Places to Work in Massachusetts for the last four years, our community-based, mission-driven hospice and palliative care organization seeks an Accounting Associate to join its dynamic administrative team.

Our not-for-profit hospice and palliative care organization has an opportunity for an organized, detail-oriented, compassionate, and resourceful individual. Candidate must have strong communication and time management skills and be eager and willing to handle the diverse responsibilities of the job with a helpful, professional attitude, and a friendly demeanor.ย 

Job Responsibilities:

The Accounting Associate engages in fiscal billing and supports multiple aspects of managing and analyzing the organizationโ€™s financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Schedule and Weekly Hours:

Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm.

Education, Skills and Experience:

  • College degree or equivalent experience preferred.ย ย 
  • Insurance billing background (hospice or other type of facility) or some accounting experience.
  • Experience with any accounting program (QuickBooks, Sage, Aplos, etc)
