Job description

We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our Shared Resource Center (SRC) team. This position is responsible for reviewing and posting vehicle deals to the general ledger for multiple dealerships across several states, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with company accounting policies.

What You'll Do
  • Review and post new and used vehicle deals to the general ledger
  • Verify deal structure, inventory transactions, and accounting accuracy
  • Ensure proper recording of vehicle sales, trade-ins, payoffs, incentives, warranties, and ancillary products
  • Reconcile inventory-related accounts and investigate discrepancies
  • Work closely with dealership personnel to resolve accounting and documentation issues
  • Assist with month-end closing activities and account reconciliations
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and accounting procedures across multiple dealership locations
  • Support a high-volume, fast-paced accounting environment
What We're Looking For
  • Automotive dealership accounting experience required
  • Strong understanding of debits, credits, and general ledger accounting
