Accounting Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist with maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting day-to-day accounting operations.

Responsibilities

  • Record financial transactions and maintain accurate accounting records
  • Enter journal entries and reconcile accounts
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
  • Assist with preparing financial and audit reports
  • Review financial data for accuracy and resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain organized records and documentation
  • Support the accounting team with administrative tasks and other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle confidential financial information responsibly
  • Strong communication skills in both English and Gujarati
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Education & Experience
