The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a highly skilled Finance & Accounting Mid-Level Analyst to coordinate day-to-day accounting and financial activities, perform complex financial analyses, and provide technical accounting advice to managers and staff, with a focus on federal government accounting standards.
This position offers the opportunity to play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of the organization while providing strategic guidance to leadership. The successful candidate will be a key player in ensuring financial compliance, data integrity, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and perform a full range of routine to complex financial activities within the assigned area
  • Analyze financial information from various sources (bank accounts, billing statements, financial statements, SLAs, tax returns, etc.) to identify and resolve discrepancies
  • Assist in developing financial forecasts for Working Capital Fund products
  • Prepare related financial statements. Prepare complex tax returns and documents
  • Analyze and test systems that interface with the accounting system to ensure data integrity
  • Manage and monitor priorities and meet deadlines
  • Reconcile General Ledger accounts
  • Create and present financial reports to senior managers, making recommendations when appropriate
  • Provide technical accounting advice and guidance to managers on financial processes, workflow
  • Assist in developing and implementing specific financial policies and procedures
  • Maintain systems of checks and balances to ensure financial integrity
  • Functions may be modified based on the designated office requirements

Qualifications:
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of four(4) years of demonstrated accounting experience in financial management, accounting, auditing, and/or fiscal control
  • Strong knowledge of federal GAAP, FASAB, and FASB Considerable knowledge of Federal appropriation law
  • TS/SCI with Polygraph.

Desired:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in related field preferred, with at least 24 accounting credit hours including business law or auditing
  • Experience with federal financial systems and databases
  • In-depth understanding of federal accounting principles, standards, and regulations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to research, compile, and evaluate financial data
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Considerable knowledge of accounting software systems and their interfaces

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
