ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST

Accounts Payable | Accounts Receivable | Bank Reconciliations

Sonoma County, CA | Full-Time | $60,000 – $65,000

About the Opportunity

A well-established Sonoma County manufacturer is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join their finance team. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their accounting career who wants to build a solid foundation in a stable, growing company with a supportive team environment.

Position Overview

This role focuses on the day-to-day transactional accounting functions that keep the business running smoothly. You will handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations, and work closely with internal teams and vendors to ensure accuracy and timeliness in all financial records.

Key Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices, code expenses, and manage accounts payable

• Generate and send customer invoices; follow up on outstanding receivables

• Apply and reconcile customer payments

• Perform monthly bank reconciliations

• Maintain organized records and supporting documentation

• Communicate professionally with vendors and internal stakeholders

• Assist with ad hoc accounting tasks as needed

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience

• Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite, or similar

• Solid Excel skills and strong attention to detail
