Senior Tax Accountant
Salary Range

General Accountabilities

Duties:
- Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships
- Conduct tax research and analysis to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws
- Provide tax planning and advisory services to clients to minimize tax liabilities and maximize financial benefits
- Assist clients with tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities
- Prepare and review financial statements and accounting records to identify potential tax issues or opportunities
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with tax regulations
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations and communicate relevant updates to clients

- Prepare sales tax returns for Florida and other states

Job Qualifications

Experience:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of tax experience experience in a public accounting firm
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
- Proficiency in using tax software
- Experience with account analysis, financial sales, mergers acquisitions
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
