Job description

THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN GREEN BAY, WISCONSIN.

Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Accounts receivable duties include processing and monitoring incoming payments and posting receipts
  • Resolving customer account discrepancies
  • Accounts payable duties include the matching of necessary documentation for payment approval.
  • Process vendor payments (electronic & manual)
  • Working with other departments to ensure vendors are paid timely and resolving customer account discrepancies
  • Ensuring payments are coded to the correct accounts
  • Assist in time capture and reporting for payroll purposes
  • Assist in the preparation of accurate, timely financial statements in accordance with our established schedule and with input from the rest of the accounting department
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts
  • Conduct monthly and account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance
  • Assist Controller with annual year-end financial audits
  • Collaborate and problem solve with site administrative, operations management and supervisory staff
  • Utilize Microsoft office suite, ERP, to perform assigned daily functions
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Leader

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or economics required

Experience:

  • 2+ Years of accounting experience is required
  • 2+ Years of ERP and accounting systems experience required
  • 1+ Years of manufacturing experience accounting is preferred
  • 1+ Years of public accounting experience is preferred
  • 1+ Years of job costing experience is preferre
