Job description

Join a group of passionate advocates on our mission to improve the lives of youth!  Rite of Passage Team is hiring for an Accounts Receivable Clerk at our main office in Minden, Nevada 

Minden, NV is a small town located in the western part of Nevada, In the Carson Valley, about 15 miles south of Carson City and roughly 45 south of Reno. It serves as the county seat of Douglas County. The area is known for its pc picturesque landscapes, characterized by the backdrop of the Sierra Nevada Mountains to the west and the Carson Range to the east. Minden itself is a charming, historic town with a population of just under 4,000 people.

Pay: Starting $21 to $23 an hour

What you will do: As the Accounts Receivable Clerk you will be responsible for data verification, month-end invoicing, payment application, collections, account inquiries and follow-up, daily deposits, sales and receivable reporting, produce, interpret and analyze receivable reports, work in excel, and day-to-day administrative business relating to the activities required to manage accounts receivable.  Fast paced work environment. This position reports to the Accounts Receivable Supervisor and is based in the Minden, NV Office.

To be considered you should: Possess a high school diploma ~ Prior experience in accounts receivable, authorizations, invoicing, collections, and payment applications ~ Proficient in MS office and Excel~ organized and detail oriented~ Good communication skills, both written and verbal ~ Ability to work independently and collaboratively~ Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test ~ Be able to pass a search of the child abuse central registry.  

    Schedule: 

    Monday - Friday ~ 8:00am - 5:00pm ~ 1 hour break
