Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire an experienced Medical Staff Services Project Coordinator who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.
As a Medical Staff Services Project Coordinator, you will:
• Coordinates logistics and administrative operations for the four functional areas of the Medical Staff Services Department - Credentialing/Privileging Team, Administrative Team, Quality Program, and Medical Education Program (CME and GME) Responsibilities include managing the Director's and Managers' calendars, completing payroll, invoice submission, P-card reconciliation, purchasing supplies, oversight of SGMCMedStaffOffice email box, maintenance of medical staff leadership/staff/medical staff rosters, and overall office coordination to support efficient departmental operations
• Supports the Medical Staff Services program through management of the Medical Executive Committee, Semi-Annual Medical Staff meeting, Annual New Medical Staff Leadership Orientation, and Department led meetings including meeting management, chair support, reporting coordination, coordination of presentations, and documentation collection and development.
• Coordinates the On-Call Schedules including training of software users, completion and distribution of schedule. Maintains a back-up copy of all on-call schedules in the Medical Staff Office.
• Coordinates the Cerner View Only access process according to Department policy to ensure required training completion, HIPAA compliance, collection of required fees, and tracking of all accesses.
• Provides administrative problem-solving support and participates in the Medical Staff Services Program quality initiatives.
• Provides assistance with front desk coverage as needed and other department projects when requested, e.g. provider collection of provider health documentation; annual PPD and orientation documentation; OPPE; etc
Qualifications include:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administrative or a HealthCare related field or preferred.
• Minimum of five year's demonstrated administrative and project management experience in confidential health care setting required. Preferably in an acute care hospital setting. High level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Work Schedule:
  • Employment Type: Full-time
  • Hours per Week: 40 hrs/week
  • Typical Daily Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30 am to 4 pm. Evening meetings required 1 to 2 times per month.
  • Shift Type: Day
  • Weekend Requirements: No
  • Holiday Requirements: Follow company holiday schedule

*Hybrid schedule after successful completion of first 90 days onsite.
Pay Range:
$26.91 - $39.03
If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.
