Description and Requirements
About the Role:
The EB Senior Account Representative plays a key role in supporting our Account Management team to service and retain employee benefits clients. You'll be an essential part of our efforts to deliver outstanding client service and ensure smooth operations for our employee benefits accounts.
What You'll Do:
  • Provide day-to-day support to Account Managers for ongoing client service, renewals, and retention efforts.
  • Coordinate product implementation paperwork with carriers.
  • Request, review, and track benefit plan documents, including booklets, contracts, SPDs, and compliance materials.
  • Assist with preparation of materials for client meetings, renewals, and employee communications.
  • Gather renewal information and prepare draft applications, schedules, and supporting materials for the Account Management team.
  • Prepare draft client-facing materials such as benefit guides, Brainshark content, and educational presentations.
  • Maintain accurate client, carrier, and plan information in agency management systems, ImageRight, and shared drives.
  • Stay informed on industry information, technology, and trends.

What We're Looking For:
  • Prior customer service experience and insurance industry knowledge preferred.
  • High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
  • Current Life and Disability insurance license or willingness to obtain; motivated to learn new concepts and further professional development.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and internet-based applications.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Ability to complete assigned tasks, manage multiple priorities, and meet established deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships with internal partners, clients, and carriers.
