Job description

Our client seeks multiple Logistics Account Managers/Client Relations/Sales to join their team.

These are full-time direct hire opportunities. You will earn a base pay of $40,000, plus commissions. With commissions, you can realistically earn $50,000 to $60,000 your first year at this positive, family-friendly company. Excellent benefits.

As an Account Manager, some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Building relationships with customers via phone
  • Carrier development
  • Entry level sales via warm leads
  • Negotiating rates
  • Setting up appointments
  • Tracking inbound and outbound freight
  • Making and receiving a high volume of calls (85% outbound/15% inbound)
  • Resolving issues

To qualify for these positions, you must have at least one (1) year of outbound phone or customer service experience and:

  • High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Logistics experience a plus
  • Results oriented mindset
  • Positive attitude
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to negotiate
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term business relationships
