Job Title: Account Executive  
Job Type:

Work Location: On-site during ramp and training, with remote flexibility after ramp based on performance and business need.
Location: Santa Ana, CA 

Required Qualifications

  • 1 to 2 years of mortgage industry experience (retail, correspondent, or wholesale)
  • 2+ years of sales experience
  • Strong communication skills and comfort with outbound activity
  • Detail oriented and able to thrive in a production-driven environment
  • Comfortable working with the Microsoft office suite and CRM tools
  • Team player with a service-first mindset

Preferred Qualifications

  • Wholesale lending experience
  • Non-QM experience
  • Existing broker relationships or the ability to build a book quickly

Duties

  • Prospect and engage potential clients through outbound activity (calls, emails, and follow-up)
  • Track contacts, pipeline activity, and outreach in the company CRM
  • Build and maintain relationships with current and new mortgage brokers
  • Maintain sales contact, pipeline, and other pertinent sales activity reports
  • Train brokers on HomeXpress products, policies, and procedures to ensure loan files are complete and within guidelines
  • Work directly with brokers and loan officers on marketing programs that drive production
  • Stay current on underwriting guidelines and program changes
  • Support brokers through the loan process, including pre-underwriting and pre-qualifying files as needed
  • Provide ongoing service and support to broker partners

Compensation Structure

Your earnings are structured to reward performance and provide consistent financial stability. This role follows a Commission-on-Draw model.

  • Standard Monthly Draw: A guaranteed monthly draw of $2,929.34 ($35,152.08 annualized) is provided against future commissions to ensure steady cash flow.
  • Commission Earnings: In addition to the draw against commission, you are eligible for uncapped commission earnings based on volume of funded units.
  • Supplemental Pay: Further incentives include eligibility for Quarterly Performance Bonuses, designed to reward exceptional results and long-term contribution to the team.
  • On Target Earnings or OTE are $100,000 though it isn't uncommon for successful Account Executives to earn $150,000+
