Job description

About the Team
The SMB Sales team at SevenRooms is on a mission to reshape the hospitality industry by helping restaurant operators take control of their guest relationships. We partner closely with clients to uncover business gaps, offer creative solutions, and drive long-term value through our operator-first platform. We're a team of strategic thinkers, trusted advisors, and passionate relationship-builders who believe in the power of hospitality-and the technology that supports it.
About the Role
As a Manager on Account Development team, you will be responsible for building a new engine of growth for this line of businesses. You will be responsible for hiring, training and building the class of Account Development sellers, driving the MRR expansion and growth across our growing partner base. You do this by building an inclusive and motivating work environment, establishing clear KPI and metrics for performance and working with our S&O and Product partners to build the optimal customer experience. This position will report to the Senior Manager, Account Development - In Store and will lead team members in key strategic markets in NAM. This role will be remote but will require travel to your key markets for both organization and restaurant sales support as needed.
You're excited about this opportunity because you will...
  • Be an integral leader driving results for a top company priority. As more merchants join our In Store product line, our opportunity to grow their revenue, grows our business too.
  • Build a high performing sales team. We have lofty goals and a growing partner base that is excited to work with us. You will need to build a team that is prepared to drive outcomes while also working with some of the best full service restaurants in the country. You will do this by clearly defining roles and responsibilities, scope, KPIs and performance while becoming the company ambassadors to a highly visible and influential segment of the restaurant industry
  • Learn from the front to enhance our customers' and employees' experiences. While guiding across many functions, our leaders remain as customer obsessed as our front line sellers. As a sales leader, you will leverage your own learnings from conversations with merchants as well as scaled learnings from other teams to build processes and programs that help make our merchants' and peoples' lives easier.
  • See around corners for the team. Whether planning for the next quarter, for the next year with new products, or for several years down with new organizations, this role will be responsible for building and scaling our In Store Account Development team into the future.
We're excited about you because...
  • You have a minimum of 3 years in account management or account development leadership positions with experience in SaaS, SMB Tech or Restaurant Sales.
  • You have a track record of building and growing a high-performing sales team, capable of sourcing and developing top talent.
  • You have consistently achieved and overperformed on strategic sales goals
  • You're committed to leading with empathy and effective communication, fostering a positive and motivating team environment.
  • You're eager to contribute significantly to SevenRooms and DoorDash's growth and culture, embodying our core values and impacting the company's success in NAM.
  • You have experience working directly with restaurants and hospitality groups, understanding their needs and identifying gaps in their operations.
  • You're able to work with a cross-functional team and guarantee a smooth transition for new restaurant partners.
  • You are comfortable with sales tools like Salesforce, Google Suite, and general data analysis.
  • You incorporate AI tools in your daily work to increase your efficiency and effectiveness, and are practiced at training your team to do the same

We expect this position to be filled by 9/13/2026.
