Outside Sales Associate

Location: Seattle, WA

Work Arrangement: Onsite/Field-Based

Employment Type: Direct Hire

Pay Range: $50,000 to $75,000 base salary (potential for higher base if experience justifies)

Commission and more: Commission opportunity- 2% gross profit uncapped

  • This role will inherit 10-30 clients and will also be responsible for finding new business and growing current book

Job Overview

We are seeking a Chinese/English bilingual Outside Sales Associate to support restaurant, wholesale, distributor, and foodservice customers across the Seattle market.

This role is built for someone who enjoys being in the field, building customer relationships, learning specialty food products, solving customer needs, and growing sales through consistent service. The right candidate will understand the pace of restaurant and food distribution customers, communicate well in both Chinese and English, and be comfortable managing a sales territory with daily customer interaction.

This is a strong opportunity for someone with B2B food distribution, restaurant sales, foodservice sales, restaurant operations, wholesale food, Asian food, seafood, produce, beverage, or restaurant supply experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet monthly and annual sales goals established by management.
  • Visit current and prospective customers to provide product support, share information, and grow sales.
  • Build long-term relationships with restaurants, wholesalers, distributors, and foodservice operators.
  • Identify customer needs and recommend products that support menu, inventory, cost, and business goals.
  • Educate customers on product offerings, availability, substitutions, promotions, and service options.
  • Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, accounting, and operations teams to support accurate order fulfillment.
  • Enter and update orders accurately in the company system.
  • Coordinate urgent deliveries when needed to support customer needs.
  • Partner with accounting to support timely payment collection.
  • Resolve customer issues quickly and escalate concerns when needed.
  • Participate in weekly sales meetings.
  • Attend semiannual inventory counts, which may occur on a weekend.
  • Attend company events and functions outside normal working hours as needed.
  • Maintain and safely operate a company vehicle according to company policy.
  • Travel locally to customer sites, restaurants, wholesalers, distributors, and foodservice accounts.

Required Qualifications
