ย About the Roleย 

We areย seekingย a motivated,ย strategicย and analyticallyย mindedย Business Development Senior Associateย to join our Corporate Business Development team. This junior-level role is ideal for someone with foundational experience in a professional services or marketing organization who is eager to sharpen their demand-generation, prospecting, and pipeline-management capabilities.ย 

In this role, you willย work closely with North Americaย regional leadership toย help accelerate growth by translating buyer intent insights into action, enabling consultants to originate new relationships, andย maintainingย a high-quality pipeline of opportunities withย senior-levelย prospects. You will collaborate closely with Marketing, Commercial, and Consulting teams to drive a coordinated, modern, and insight-led approach to business development.ย 

Your Day to Day

Demand Generation & Buyer Intent Activation (40%)ย 

  • Monitor, interpret, and action buyer-intent signals from prospective and current enterprise accounts using platforms such asย Eloqua, ZoomInfo, Dynamics 365, and Teams.ย 
  • Identifyย meaningful engagement triggers (content interactions, account surges, persona-level engagement, competitive signals) and convert them into outreach recommendations or follow-up actions.ย 
  • Partner with consultants, commercial leads, and marketing teams to ensureย timely, relevant, and personalized engagement with CMOs, CEOs, and other growth-oriented executives.ย 
  • Support the creation of high-quality outbound messaging, executive briefings, and account insights that improve conversion to meetings and early-stage opportunities.ย 
  • Track performance of intent-driven outreach and refine best practices that improveย resultsย over time.ย 

ย Consultant Network Engagement & Outreach Enablement (30%)

  • Lead and support a group of senior consultants whoย originateย new meetings and early-stage consulting engagements through their professional networks.ย 
  • Provide ongoing enablement: curated content,ย timelyย insights, message frameworks, outreach cadences, and account-specific guidance.ย 
  • Support list building, refinement, and maintenance to ensure consultants have well-prioritized and actionable prospect lists.ย 
  • Upskill team members on CRM-enabled outreach, including Dynamics 365 hygiene, sequence management, and reporting.ย 
  • Deliver 1:1 coaching and support to help consultants improve outreach quality, efficiency, and consistency.ย 
  • Coordinate quarterly, in-personย Outreach Acceleration Days, including agenda planning, materials, engagement support, and follow-through.ย 
  • Foster a culture of shared celebration, continuous learning, and measurable progress across the consultant network.ย 

ย Pipeline Management & Sales Operations (30%)

  • Monitor, manage, andย maintainย pipeline accuracy, ensuringย high standardsย for data quality, completeness, and prioritization.ย 
  • Facilitate and lead the weekly pipeline review meeting in partnership with the resourcing/staffing team.ย 
  • Follow up with opportunity owners to gather more detail on open pursuits, clarify next steps, and encourage consistent pipeline hygiene.ย 
  • Assign priority levels to new and active pursuits based on strategic fit, buyer urgency, and likelihood of conversion.ย 
  • Match high-priority opportunities withย appropriate pursuitย coachesย and encourage knowledge and best practice sharing across the pursuit coaching communityย 
  • Identifyย pursuits that should be escalated for discussion during the weeklyย Priority Pursuit Reviewย and ensure all related materials are prepared.
  • Deliver pipeline insights and reporting that support forecasting, resourcing decisions, and leadership visibility.ย 
What You Bring
  • 3+ years of experienceย in a professional services, consulting, marketing, or business development environment.ย 
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data from marketing automation, CRM, and intent-signal platforms.ย 
  • Demonstrated success inย working directly with senior leaders onย outbound prospecting, account research, or sales enablement activities.ย 
  • Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders with confidence and professionalism.ย 
  • High levelย of organization, attention to detail, and commitment toย maintainingย accurateย systems and processes.ย 
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with competing priorities.
  • Proficiency with or willingness to learn Eloqua, ZoomInfo, Dynamics 365, Tea
  • Familiarity with consulting sales cycles, pipeline stages, and pursuit processes.ย 
  • Experienceย supporting orย facilitatingย workflow and playbook development.ย 
  • Experience supporting andย facilitatingย organizational change efforts.ย 

Location: New York, NY or Richmond, VA (3 full days/week in office)

Salary: $80,000-$90,000
