About the Role
As an SAE specializing in Creator Marketing, you are a vital part of the Citizen Team. We are looking for someone with a solid understanding of brand communications, organic content ecosystems, and influencer management.
The right candidate will be a creative and strategic thinker who is inquisitive and bold. You must balance exploring new platform features and "wild" ideas with a sensible approach to generating engagement and managing campaigns that deliver ROI. You thrive in fast-paced environments and understand what makes social content resonate with modern audiences.
In this role, you will:
  • Bridge Leadership: Act as a link between junior and senior team members on client accounts.
  • Client Relations: Present tactical recommendations and manage client-facing correspondence with high levels of autonomy.
  • Creator Strategy & Execution: Provide team and clients proactive & reactive creator strategy recommendations (including paid amplification strategy in collaboration with senior team lead), manage creator program tactics and campaign deliverables with minimal oversight.
  • Influencer Identification: Stay in-the-know regarding up-and-coming and established influencers that are resonating with key audiences; build lists of target-right influencers for projects/campaigns.
  • End-to-End Influencer Management: Negotiate contracts, develop creative briefs, and launch client-approved influencer content.
  • Content Creation: When needed, write creative, platform-native copy and develop compelling social materials that require little to no revisions.
  • Shoot Management: When needed, staff and/or lead the coordination of content shoots, ensuring creative vision translates to high-performing assets.
  • Trend Monitoring: Keep your finger on the pulse of platform algorithm changes and industry trends to inform creator/social strategy.
  • Growth & Development: Support new business pitches through research and creator marketing tactic development while mentoring junior staff.
  • Budgeting: Maintain an understanding of client budgets and manage the execution of creator campaign budgets.

Qualifications
  • Experience: 3-4 years of creator marketing experience in an agency or corporation.
  • Influencer Relations: Proven background working with influencers to create content and attend events.
  • Platform Expertise: Knowledge of social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, etc.) and a deep understanding of their unique influencers & community behaviors.
  • Strategic & Analytical: Ability to think strategically, capable of applying data and "known" trends toward measurable creator strategies.
  • Content Specialist: Capable of delivering effective written products, including content scripts, captions, etc.
  • Paid/Organic Integration: Work collaboratively with the team's Creator Strategist to develop recommendations on how paid spend can maximize creator reach and engagement.
  • Client Advisor: Demonstrates an understanding of client businesses and can lead creator-focused meetings, setting the agenda and presenting to the client with confidence.
  • Technical Literacy: Knowledge of tools like Brandwatch, Sprinklr, HootSuite, Sprout and Creator IQ is an asset.
  • Presentation Skills: Confident in presenting creator strategies and reporting to senior-level clients.

Transparency Matters For this role, you can expect an annual salary between $70,000-80,000 depending on experience.
