Proficiency with accessibility testing tools (like Axe, WAVE, or JAWS), code repositories, and issue tracking systems is commonly required. Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and effective communication are vital soft skills for collaborating with distributed teams and advocating for accessible solutions. These skills are crucial for ensuring digital products are usable by everyone, meeting legal requirements, and promoting inclusivity.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external open-source contributors through code reviews, technical discussions, and community engagement.
  • Contribute to the evolution of developer tools and frameworks, adapting to changing technologies and emerging industry needs.
  • Integrate modern frontend technologies to deliver intuitive and seamless web experiences for Python-based applications.

  • Support and foster open-source ecosystems by actively engaging with community feedback and contributions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Python software development.
  • Strong expertise in architecting and maintaining complex Python frameworks, libraries, or large-scale software projects.
  • Professional experience with JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
  • Hands-on experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Svelte, or similar technologies.
  • Proven experience contributing to, maintaining, or leading open-source software initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, including scalability, testing, performance optimization, and developer experience.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote and globally distributed environment.
  • Passion for artificial intelligence, machine learning technologies, and making advanced tools accessible to broader communities.
  • Adaptable mindset and willingness to take on evolving responsibilities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Benefits:
  • Fully remote and highly flexible work environment with distributed teams across multiple regions.
  • Flexible working hours and strong emphasis on work-life balance.
  • Comprehensive healthcare coverage, including medical, dental, and vision benefits for employees and eligible dependents.
  • Generous paid time off and parental leave policies.
  • Home office support and workstation equipment to ensure long-term success in a remote setting.
  • Opportunities to visit international office locations and collaborate with global teams.
  • Professional development support, including reimbursement for conferences, training programs, and educational opportunities.
  • Equity participation, allowing employees to share in the long-term success of the organization.
  • Inclusive, collaborative, and mission-driven culture that values diversity, innovation, and continuous learning.
  • Opportunity to contribute directly to open-source projects with significant global impact and visibility.
