Paratransit Van Driver ? ACCESS Program (No CDL Required)

Location: North Versailles, PA 15137 (Servicing local Allegheny County routes)
Position Type: Full-Time & Part-Time openings available
Compensation: $18.00 ? $22.00 per hour (Based on experience) + Overtime opportunities

What You Will Do

  • Provide safe, door-to-door, shared-ride transportation for senior citizens, individuals with disabilities, and human service agency clients across Allegheny County.
  • Assist passengers safely into and out of the vehicle.
  • Secure wheelchairs and mobility devices using certified structural restraining systems.
  • Follow a pre-scheduled, manifest-driven local routing system while maintaining excellent on-time punctuality.
  • Perform routine daily pre-trip vehicle safety inspections.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Age: Must be at least 21 years old (for commercial insurance requirements).
  • License: Valid PA Driver?s License with a clean driving record (no major infractions within the past 3 years).
  • Background Checks: Must pass PA Act 33/34 clearances (Child Abuse and Criminal History) and FBI fingerprinting (if out of state resident within past 3 years.)
  • Health: Ability to pass a standard DOT physical exam and drug screen (paid for by the company).
  • Physical Ability: Able to assist passengers and securely maneuver wheelchairs on ramps and lifts.
