Job description

APPIT Software Solutions is hiring a Identity & Access Management (IAM) Engineer in Seattle, USA. Design and implement enterprise identity and access management solutions, driving zero-trust identity strategies and SSO/MFA rollouts at APPIT Software Solutions in Seattle.

Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain enterprise IAM solutions including SSO, MFA, and adaptive authentication workflows
  • Manage identity providers (Okta, Azure AD/Entra ID, Ping Identity) and configure SAML, OIDC, and SCIM integrations
  • Develop and enforce role-based access control (RBAC) and attribute-based access control (ABAC) policies across cloud and on-premises systems
  • Lead privileged access management (PAM) initiatives using tools like CyberArk or BeyondTrust
  • Automate user lifecycle management including provisioning, deprovisioning, and access certification campaigns
  • Conduct access reviews, entitlement audits, and ensure compliance with SOX, HIPAA, and SOC 2 requirements
Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience in IAM engineering or identity security with enterprise-scale deployments
  • Deep expertise with identity platforms such as Okta, Azure AD/Entra ID, ForgeRock, or SailPoint
  • Strong understanding of authentication protocols (SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, FIDO2/WebAuthn)
  • Experience with privileged access management (PAM) and just-in-time access provisioning
  • Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Python) for IAM automation and API integrations
  • Knowledge of identity governance frameworks and compliance requirements (SOX, HIPAA, GDPR)

  • Certified Identity and Access Manager (CIAM) or SC-300 certification
  • Experience with decentralized identity or verifiable credentials
  • Background in zero-trust network access (ZTNA) implementations
