Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon01:00 PM - 09:00 PMFri01:00 PM - 09:00 PMSun01:00 PM - 09:00 PM

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific procedures, access control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor entrances and exits, verify identification and credentials, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with location policies.
  • Control vehicle and pedestrian access at gates and entry points, helping to deter unauthorized entry and supporting orderly traffic flow throughout the location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, parking areas, and perimeter, and report maintenance concerns, hazards, and other security-related issues.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, and/or city issued security-related license is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
