Security Systems Technician
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Compensation: $58,000 - $72,000 annually (DOE)
Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Security Systems Technician to support the installation, service, programming, and maintenance of commercial security systems. This role is ideal for a hands-on technician with strong low-voltage experience, troubleshooting abilities, and a customer-focused mindset.
The technician will work with a variety of commercial systems including access control, CCTV/video surveillance, intrusion alarms, and fire alarm systems. Experience with Eagle Eye Networks, Brivo, and DMP platforms is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities
Install, program, service, and maintain commercial security systems
Configure and troubleshoot CCTV/video surveillance systems, including Eagle Eye Networks platforms
Install and support Brivo access control systems
Install, program, and service DMP intrusion alarm systems
Troubleshoot low-voltage systems including access control, CCTV, intrusion alarms, and fire alarms
Pull, terminate, and test low-voltage cabling
Program customer security devices, user credentials, access levels, and databases
Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical schematics
Perform system testing and verify proper operation
Maintain accurate service records, documentation, and project notes
Communicate professionally with customers, project managers, and internal teams
Follow all safety procedures and industry best practices
Qualifications
Experience with commercial security systems, low-voltage cabling, or related electrical work preferred
Hands-on experience with Eagle Eye Networks, Brivo, and DMP systems strongly preferred
Knowledge of access control, IP camera systems, alarm systems, and structured cabling
Experience programming and managing security platforms preferred
NICET certification is a plus, but not required
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
