Peace of Mind Technologies (POM), is currently searching for a qualified, enthusiastic, hard-working and driven Security Systems (CCTV / Access Control) Project Engineer that embodies POM core values to join our Company.


About You


You are driven and skilled at providing effective engineering and implementation of end to end execution for security system integration scope of works, including Design Review, Build, Quality Assurance, System Programming and Client Training for timely delivery and handover to the Client.

Founded in 2002, POM has handled more than 2,000 site installations, primarily focused on large offices, retail, hospitality, health care, education, and real estate (commercial, luxury residential and hi-rise).


Roles & Responsibilities:


Provide security system engineering and design support services to Project Managers to ensure the timely delivery of scope of work.


  • Responsible for the onsite supervision and implementation of the construction of an electronic security system.
  • Under the direction of the assigned Project manager, be responsible for the effective delivery of resources, scheduling, procurement, and implementation of complete systems.
  • Conduct routine site surveys and audits of premises and systems, identifying and quantifying shortcomings, make recommendations on resolution of issues.
  • Provide written reports, test procedures etc, and conduct field testing and be responsible for commissioning of the complete scope of work.
  • Carry out the design, programming and implementation of the security systems design in accordance with relevant statutes and codes and to do so in accordance with industry best practice.
  • Deliver effective commissioning of security systems to satisfy all quality requirements and aid in support of hand-off to the Security Service team.


Desired Skills and Experience


  • 5 years + experience in installing, programming, training in Electronic Security Systems.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of low current systems including Access Control, CCTV, Fire Alarm, Intercom, Gate barriers, Intruder Alarm, Network configuration etc.
  • Experience in the system design and implementation of security solutions and techniques.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint. AutoCad and Visio is a +
  • Willingness and ability to work flexibly and diligently as befits an important role within a fast growing division.
  • High level of self motivation and an ability to work with a high level of initiative.
  • Strong team player who can communicate effectively.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and work effectively in high pressure situations.
