Job description

Sentara Medical Group is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to join our experienced Orthopedic Hand Surgery team covering Sentara Leigh Hospital in Norfolk, VA and our Chesapeake office. The Advanced Practice Provider will work alongside an experienced/collaborative orthopedic team to provide comprehensive care to patients requiring orthopedic services.

 Position Highlights:

  • Schedule: 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
  • Call- one night a week, 1 weekend a month
  • Average daily patient load of 10-20, shared across a larger orthopedic team
  • Daily duties include inpatient and outpatient services under guidance of the physicians
  • Team-based approach with support from a highly skilled group of orthopedic providers
  • Integrated Hand Center has In-Office Therapy, Digital X-ray and procedure room
  • 48 bed Dedicated Orthopedic Hospital
