The work:

The Scrum Master will exhibit Lean-Agile leadership, adopt and apply Agile Principles, and implement Agile practices. You will promote Agile quality practices so the team can meet its goals. Identify and work to mitigate impediments. Facilitate all team meetings, including (but not limited to) the Daily Stand-Up, Sprint Planning, and Sprint Retrospective. Guide the team in estimating the team's work. Keep the team focused on daily and sprint goals to include achieving results, quality, flow, and velocity. Identify functional requirements and create user stories. Test developed stories and ensure application quality. Solve problems and provide technical support to application end users. Develop and maintain documentation and training materials. Assist with data mapping.

Here's what you need:

  • Active TS Clearance
  • Required to report to client site (downtown DC) 5 times a week
  • Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 5 years of work experience as a Scrum Master (including internships) 
  • Clear written communication and documentation skills
  • Experience with Agile framework and working on a Kanban or Scrum team
  • Experience with creating and monitoring tasks in JIRA
  • Application/software requirements gathering experience

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
