Job Description:
The Epic Certified Willow Home Infusion Analyst serves as the SME and technical lead for home infusion pharmacy workflows within Epic, supporting the continuum of care from hospital discharge through home-based infusion therapy. The Analyst brings 4+ years of healthcare IT experience, responsible for support, configuration, and optimization of the Epic Willow Home Infusion module in collaboration with Accenture, Epic, offshore teams, and client stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as primary SME for Epic Willow Home Infusion workflows and configurations
  • Manage daily support activities, ensuring timely incident and service request resolution per SLAs
  • Troubleshoot application issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
  • Monitor and resolve error queues, interface issues, and home infusion workflow defects
  • Support label and printer configurations for medication preparation and delivery
  • Build, configure, and optimize home infusion pharmacy modules within Epic Willow
  • Configure workflows for medication preparation/compounding, delivery logistics, and administration tracking
  • Develop and maintain infusion medication builds for the Home Infusion module
  • Build and troubleshoot billing rules for payor contracts and infusion reimbursement
  • Support integration of Home Infusion with ambulatory and inpatient Epic modules
  • Lead or contribute to system design, testing, and go-live activities
  • Liaise between client stakeholders and technical teams to align capabilities with clinical and operational needs
  • Partner with pharmacists, home infusion nurses, and care coordinators to translate clinical needs into solutions
  • Coordinate with offshore teams on task delegation, communication, and performance monitoring
  • Participate in team meetings with updates on status, risks, and resource needs
  • Maintain system documentation including workflows, build specs, and testing protocols
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, data governance, medication safety, and security policies
  • Support audit readiness and regulatory compliance for home infusion operations

Basic Qualifications:
  • A minimum of three years of Epic application and management support experience with home infusion operations and Epic Willow home infusion configuration
  • Active Epic Willow Home Infusion certification required
  • High school diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications
  • Additional Epic certifications (Inpatient, Ambulatory, Bugsy)
  • Experience managing EHR support operations and meeting SLA requirements
  • Familiarity with continuum-of-care workflows (hospital → outpatient → home)
