Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality radiation therapy treatments to patients per protocol.
Adhere to all regulatory, safety, and quality standards and reporting requirements.
Perform accurate treatment planning and dosimetry under supervision.
Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment safely and efficiently.
Monitor patient responses and document outcomes to guide care.
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to optimize patient treatment plans.
Engage in continuous learning to stay current with advances in radiation oncology.
Maintain thorough documentation for all treatments, calibrations, and quality checks.
Track progress against targets using pipelines and metrics; report variances.
Educate patients and families about procedures, expectations, and aftercare.
Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.
Experience/Qualifications
Arizona license or eligibility for Radiation Therapist with state boards
Strong adherence to regulatory, safety, and quality standards and documentation
Bachelor’s or associate degree in Radiation Therapy or related field
Proficient in image-guided radiation therapy planning and dosimetry under supervision
Ability to work within a metrics-driven environment and track progress against targets
Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in radiation oncology
Experience operating linear accelerators and treatment planning systems
Demonstrated ability to monitor patient responses and document outcomes accurately
Collaborative team player with experience in multidisciplinary tumor boards
Strong communication skills; educate patients and families on procedures and aftercare
