Job description

Universal Environmental Services is hiring CDL A or B Local Tanker Drivers in Casa Grande, AZ. Waste oil recovery drivers will be loading, transporting, and unloading used oil and other liquids. Universal Environmental Services is the leading used oil collector and processing company in the southeastern United States. Covering 24 states and with a growing fleet of more than 300 service and transport trucks, UES collects more than 75 million gallons of used motor oil as well as used industrial oil annually.

Compensation

Home Time, Route, & Schedule

  • Home time: Home daily, home weekends!
  • Schedule: Monday Friday
  • Shift: Day shift, Start times normally before 7am
  • Route: 250 mile radius of Casa Grande, AZ
  • Level of Touch: Loads, transports, and unloads used oil and other liquid waste streams

Equipment

  • Class B tanker trucks

    • Must be able to operate a manual transmission

Responsibilities

  • Wears company supplied uniforms and required safety equipment
  • Complete all paperwork according to company policies
  • Establish and maintain effective work relationships with employees and customers
  • Must be familiar with all company policies and procedures regarding safety and operations
  • Must have a working knowledge of all applicable rules, regulations, and laws pertaining to the collection/transportation of used oil

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must have CDL A or B license
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience with a clean driving record
  • Must have a tanker endorsement or be willing to obtain prior to starting
  • Hazmat endorsement required
  • Must be able to operate a manual transmission
  • Physicalactivityincludesbending,reaching,stretching,climbing in/out of tractors,andontopof tanks,pullinghosesweighingupto75lbsandmovingdrumsweighingupto400lbswithproper equipment
  • Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations
  • Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen
  • Hiring Radius: Drivers must live within 50 miles of Casa Grande, AZ or be willing to relocate for this position
