Role Description The Software Program Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Shreveport, LA. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing software programs that support business operations and strategic initiatives. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing project timelines and budgets, aligning cross-functional teams, and ensuring software development efforts meet business requirements and quality standards. The Software Program Manager will collaborate with product stakeholders to prioritize features, manage risks and dependencies, and communicate status updates and outcomes to leadership. The role also involves continuously improving processes, supporting implementation and rollout activities, and coordinating with IT and business users to drive successful adoption of software solutions.

Qualifications

  • Strong program management skills, including experience leading multiple concurrent initiatives and aligning them with organizational goals.
  • Hands-on understanding of software development processes and methodologies to effectively guide technical teams.
  • Proficiency in project management and software project management, including planning, scheduling, risk management, and resource coordination.
  • Experience in product management, including requirements gathering, prioritization, and lifecycle management of software products.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data, define metrics, and report on program performance and outcomes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Familiarity with agile or hybrid project methodologies and common project management tools.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
