Description

Gwinnett County is seeking an experienced Accela Administrator/Developer to support the design, configuration, integration, and ongoing optimization of the County’s Accela platform. This role is critical to enabling efficient delivery of permitting, licensing, and inspection services to residents, businesses, and internal departments. The position will focus on enhancing system functionality through automation, EMSE scripting, and API integrations, while ensuring seamless connectivity with enterprise systems such as financial platforms, GIS, and communication tools. The ideal candidate will bring both technical expertise and a strong understanding of government operations to streamline workflows, improve user experience, and support data-driven decision-making across the organization. This individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams, support both on-premise and cloud initiatives, and play a key role in modernizing Gwinnett County’s digital services. Minimum Qualifications - 3+ years of experience in Accela Automation, Configuration Management, EMSE Scripting, and application support - Strong working knowledge of both On-Premise and Cloud-based Accela platforms - Experience working within Agile, Scrum, and/or Waterfall methodologies - Proficiency with tools such as JIRA, SharePoint, Visio, MS Office Suite, Teams, Power BI, GitHub, Postman, and SSIS - Experience with Accela Ad Hoc Reporting and SSRS - Experience with Accela Digital Plan Room - Knowledge of Accela Mobile and automated deployment processes - Familiarity with GIS (Geographic Information Systems) - Experience integrating Accela with enterprise systems (e.g., Oracle Financials, SMS platforms, etc.) - Experience working within a government or public sector environment
