Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

Safety Administration & Document Control

Maintain and organize all project safety documentation, including JHAs, permits, inspections, incident reports, and training records. Manage document control and versioning using SharePoint, ACC and company systems. Ensure proper filing and accessibility of safety files across projects and teams. Maintain and update Safety Data Sheets (SDS) database.

Construction Software & Systems Management

Utilize Procore to manage safety documentation, incident logs, inspections, observations, and compliance tracking. Support safety workflows in Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), including issue tracking, document management, and field data. Use Bluebeam Revu to review plans, mark up safety concerns, manage site logistics drawings, and track safety annotations. Maintain digital records and workflows between platforms (Procore, ACC, SharePoint) to ensure data consistency.

Compliance & Reporting

Track and report key safety metrics (TRIR, LTIR, EMR support data, etc.). Assist with internal audits, client audits, third-party audits, and regulatory inspections. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations.

Training & Onboarding Support

Support new hire safety orientation and onboarding documentation. Track employee and subcontractor safety training, certifications, and expirations. Schedule and document toolbox talks and safety meetings. Assist in developing safety communications and training materials.

Incident & Corrective/Preventative Action Tracking

Support incident reporting and investigation documentation in Procore/ACC. Track corrective actions and ensure timely follow-up and closure. Maintain records of near-misses, safety observations, and hazard reports.

Field & Project Support

Coordinate with project teams to collect daily reports, inspections, and safety paperwork. Assist safety managers with audits, inspections, and compliance documentation. Support PPE tracking and distribution records. Help ensure safety documentation is complete for project startup and closeout.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree in Safety, Construction Management, or related field preferred. 2+ years of experience in construction administration or safety support.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in Procore (Safety module preferred), Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC/BIM 360), Bluebeam Revu (markups, document management), and Microsoft SharePoint and Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Experience working with construction project documentation and workflows.

Core Competencies

Strong organizational and document control skills. High attention to detail and accuracy. Working knowledge of OSHA standards and construction safety practices. Strong communication and coordination skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Working Conditions

Primarily office-based with frequent interaction with field personnel and project sites. Occasional site visits may be required. Fast-paced construction environment.

Reports to: Site Safety Manager.
