Position Summary:
The Director, Long-Term Care (LTC) National Accounts is responsible for leading Acadia's long-term care account strategy and overseeing a team of field-based account management professionals responsible for strategic customer engagement across the LTC continuum. This role serves as the senior leader for the LTC account channel, ensuring alignment of customer strategies, market insights, cross-functional initiatives, and account execution to support business objectives and improve patient access to appropriate therapies.Â
The Director will lead the development and execution of national and regional account strategies, cultivate executive-level relationships across key LTC stakeholders, and partner closely with Sales, Patient, Value & Access (PV&A), Medical Affairs, Marketing, Customer Insights & Performance (CIP), and other cross-functional teams to deliver a coordinated customer experience. This individual will provide leadership, coaching, and strategic direction to ensure organizational goals are met while maintaining the highest standards of integrity, compliance, and professionalism.Â
Primary Responsibilities:Â
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Long-Term Care account management professionals, fostering a high-performance culture focused on execution, accountability, and customer engagement.Â
- Establish and execute the strategic vision for the Long-Term Care accounts channel, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and commercial priorities.Â
- Provide leadership and oversight for key national and regional LTC customer relationships, including pharmacy providers, skilled nursing organizations, assisted living organizations, provider groups, integrated health systems, associations, and other influential stakeholders.Â
- Develop customer-focused strategies that enhance awareness, education, and appropriate access within the LTC setting.Â
- Lead and influence complex projects and initiatives that impact organizational performance and long-term business success.Â
- Represent Acadia at industry meetings, conferences, and customer engagements, enhancing awareness of the company and its products.Â
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and execute initiatives that support business objectives and strengthen customer partnerships.Â
- Guide the development and execution of strategic account plans that deliver measurable business outcomes and provide value to customers and patients.Â
- Analyze market trends, customer insights, competitive intelligence, and business performance metrics to identify opportunities and inform strategic decision-making.Â
- Establish and maintain executive-level relationships with key customer decision-makers and industry leaders.Â
- Serve as a subject matter expert on the LTC market, providing strategic guidance to internal stakeholders and senior leadership.Â
- Ensure effective coordination of resources across Marketing, Medical Affairs, PV&A, Legal, Compliance, and other functional areas.Â
- Communicate business objectives, market insights, opportunities, and performance expectations clearly and effectively across the organization.Â
- Create a culture grounded in collaboration, inclusion, accountability, compliance, and customer focus.Â

Education & Experience
Required:Â
- Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, life sciences, marketing, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Â
To qualify for Director:Â
- Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, account management, sales, market access, or commercial leadership experience.Â
- Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience managing high-performing field-based teams.Â
- Equivalent experience demonstrating Director-level leadership, scope, and impact may be considered.Â
To qualify for Sr. Director:Â
- Minimum of 12 years of progressively responsible pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, account management, sales, market access, or commercial leadership experience.Â
- Minimum of 8 years of leadership experience managing high-performing field-based teams.Â
- Equivalent experience demonstrating Senior Director-level leadership, scope, and impact may be considered.Â
- Significant experience working within the Long-Term Care marketplace, including knowledge of LTC pharmacies, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living organizations, provider networks, and healthcare delivery systems.Â
Preferred:Â
- CNS, neuroscience, specialty pharmaceutical, or biotech experience.Â
- Experience leading national account strategy or complex healthcare customer organizations.Â
- Experience working with integrated health systems, payers, provider organizations, and value-based care models.Â
