Position: Full-Time Early Childhood Educator
Location: Little Lakers Academy
Employment Type: Full-Time
Little Lakers Academy is a 5-STAR licensed early childhood education program dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. We are currently seeking a full-time Early Childhood Educator to join our team of caring and committed professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities that support childrenโ€™s physical, emotional, social, and cognitive growth.
Create and maintain a warm, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
Build strong, positive relationships with families and communicate regularly about each childโ€™s progress.
Ensure compliance with all Vermont Child Care Licensing Regulations and program policies.
Support children in daily routines, including meals, rest, and transitions.
Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and ongoing training opportunities.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; Associateโ€™s or Bachelorโ€™s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.
Experience working with children in a licensed childcare or educational setting.
Knowledge of Vermont Child Care Licensing Regulations and STARS standards (preferred).
Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
