West Noble Primary School is seeking a dedicated and nurturing Early Interventions (EI) Program Assistant to join our Early Childhood team. In this role, you will work directly with preschool students and the EI classroom teacher to facilitate a supportive, engaging, and effective learning environment. Key Responsibilities
- Direct Student Support: Work closely with preschool students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning concepts and facilitate daily educational activities.
- Classroom Collaboration: Assist the EI teacher and school staff with classroom management, activity preparation, and the implementation of lesson plans.
- Aide in Interventions: Support targeted academic and developmental interventions tailored to early childhood needs.
- Safe Environment: Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment conducive to early childhood learning.
- Principal Assignment: Perform other student support and administrative duties as assigned by the building principal.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Certification: Must be "Highly Qualified" (per state/federal guidelines for paraprofessionals) or be willing and able to become Highly Qualified upon hiring.
- Skills: Strong communication skills, patience, and a genuine passion for working with early childhood/preschool-aged children.
Contract for 190 days, with 180 student days, 6 holidays, and 4 staff days.
Starting pay $14.50/hr, 8 hrs/day.
