Description
PurpleLab is looking for a Strategic Partnership Manager to manage and grow our relationships across the advertising and data ecosystem. You will be the primary point of contact for our platform, channel, and identity partners - managing the day-to-day health of those relationships while identifying and pursuing opportunities for revenue growth and expansion.
This key role sits at the intersection of business development and account management, developing and growing revenue through strategic alliances and ecosystem partnerships for our Real World Data (RWD) based advertising solutions The ideal candidate is comfortable managing day to day business with our strategic partners as well as identify areas for revenue growth and upsell. You will work cross-functionally with agency sales, advertising product, data operations, and legal.
What You'll Do
Partner Relationship Management
• Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for a portfolio of platform (DSP/SSP), channel, and identity partners - managing communications, escalations, and issue resolution.
• Run recurring business reviews (QBRs) with key partners, tracking performance against commercial and integration goals.
• Coordinate with product and data operations teams to enable partner integrations, data delivery, and identity resolution workflows that are optimal for both the end user and PurpleLab.
• Monitor partnership health metrics (revenue, usage, data quality, SLA adherence) and proactively address risks.
• Serve as internal "Voice of Client", ensuring that cross-functional teams are aware of our partnerships and integrations and understand the offerings so they can effectively position and sell to their clients
Revenue Growth & Expansion
• Identify upsell and expansion opportunities within existing partnerships - new use cases, additional data assets, deeper integrations.
• Source, evaluate, and pursue new partnership opportunities that expand PurpleLab's reach across the healthcare marketing and ad tech ecosystem.
• Contribute to contract negotiations and renewals, working with legal and leadership to structure win-win commercial terms.
• Coordinate with sales on co-selling motions and channel-driven pipeline, ensuring partners are enabled to represent PurpleLab offerings.
• Maintain a partnership pipeline and report regularly on growth opportunities, deal status, and projected revenue impact.
Requirements
• 3+ years of experience in partner management, business development, or account management within ad tech, data/identity, or health tech is required.
• Working knowledge of the programmatic advertising ecosystem - DSPs, SSPs, data marketplaces, measurement - and the identity landscape (e.g., LiveRamp RampID, UID2).
• Track record of growing revenue through partnerships: renewals, upsells, or net-new partner deals.
• Strong relationship-building skills across both commercial and technical stakeholders.
• Negotiation and contract management experience, with the judgment to know when to escalate.
• Data-driven mindset - comfortable using data to prioritize partners, size opportunities, and report on outcomes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to represent PurpleLab credibly with senior partner contacts.
• Experience with healthcare data (claims, EHR, RWD) and familiarity with HIPAA-compliant data workflows.
• Prior work at or with an identity provider, data marketplace, or health-focused media/agency business.
• Experience managing channel/reseller programs.
