The Program Supervisor will assist in managing and supporting the day-to-day operations for multiple schools in the New York area. Assisting the company in assuring overall program quality - operationally and academically are met by conducting observations, fostering positive relationships with employees and clients, meeting complience requirements and collaborating with the management team on best practices. The Academic Program Supervisor works closely with Learn It's staff to create the most effective and efficient learning environment for students, school administrators and support staff.

What You Have
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Supervisory or leadership experience in public, private or charter education and instruction or counseling preferred. 
  • Teaching experience required.
  • Travel within the New York area, is required. Personal and reliable transportation required
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Internet Explorer. 
  • Oral and written communication skills are clear and persuasive in positive or negative situations; Must have the ability to communicate effectively and in a timely manner
  • Balances team and individual responsibilities; Able to build morale and group commitments to goals and objectives
  • Must be able to work independently and effectively engage a diverse group of clients, community partners, and co-workers; must be dependable and trustworthy.
  • Must have excellent time-management skills and ability to juggle multiple projects at once and must maintain filing system as required by the company, and meet all company deadlines

What You'll Be Doing

Be part of a collaborative team that delivers quality programs to Title I students and families in private schools. Help to build and maintain relationships and consistently following-up with instructors/teachers, students, parents, and school administrators as needed. Bringing concerns of students, parents, instructors and school administrators to the attention of management and working as a team to resolve any issues or concerns. The Academic Program Supervisor will also have administrative duties such as data entry, creating and monitoring reports, updating employee data. Specific submission schedule must be adhered to.

  • Work location is in multiple school buildings where employee will need to be able to go up and down stairs
