Job Summary
Manages and oversees the academic and administrative operations in support of the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and the Office of Academic Innovation (OAI). Responsible for ensuring the effective implementation of strategic projects, academic initiatives, and high-impact events. Oversees operational planning, process improvement, compliance oversight, and data reporting to advance curriculum innovation, enrollment, faculty initiatives, and the strategic priorities of the college and university. Manages internal operations, including project tracking, reporting systems, and coordination of resources to ensure efficiency and alignment with institutional priorities.
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Manages, coordinates, and facilitates major academic projects, including development of implementation plans, tracking progress, and ensuring timely completion of deliverables
2. Assists leadership in defining project scope, goals, and outcomes
3. Responsible for planning and executing academic events and other related events, including managing logistics, scheduling, communications, vendor coordination, and on-site operations for assigned initiatives
4. Oversees daily operational functions, including communications, scheduling, and internal coordination to support undergraduate and graduate academic programs and initiatives
5. Reviews, implements, and monitors procedures to ensure compliance with university, system (USG), state, and federal policies and regulations
6. Maintains documentation and assists with reporting to support graduate and undergraduate academic programs, curriculum processes, and operational procedures
7. Supports accreditation, assessment, and audit activities, including preparation of required materials and ensuring adherence to university, BOR/USG, and federal policies
8. Collaborates with leaders to assist with budget tracking and financial processes, including purchasing, contracts, and expense monitoring in accordance with institutional policies
9. Manages and coordinates data collection and reporting efforts to support academic initiatives and operational decision-making
10. Manages and facilitates communication and collaboration across stakeholders, including faculty, staff, administrators, and external partners, to support graduate and undergraduate academic programs and institutional goals
11. Coordinates cross-functional collaboration to advance OAI and college-level goals
12. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.

Valid and unrestricted driver's license

Five (5) years of related work experience
