Job description

This north Georgia Family Medicine Residency Program is seeking an osteopathic Family Medicine physician for a full-time faculty position. The program is dedicated to teaching the next generation of family medicine physicians, preparing medical school graduates for a career in family medicine since 1976. The Program is dually accredited through the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) and the American Osteopathic Association (AOA). Our Level III NCQA Patient-Centered Medical Home recognized Program focuses on a team approach to excellence in medical education and offers the full spectrum of family medicine.

The Family Medicine Residency provides medical care for all ages. This care includes wellness visits, preventive care, disease management, sick visits, and lab work.

Qualified Candidates Will Be:

• Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine

• Board Certified (Family Medicine)

• IP experience (within the last 5 years)

• Desire to work with a diverse population.

About the Medicine Residency

The Family Medicine Residency program is the second oldest family medicine program in Georgia. An unopposed residency program and one of the first programs in Georgia to receive ACGME Osteopathic Recognition. The program offers a unique residency experience focused on community he alth, and wellness. With the use of innovative modalities, such as POCUS and osteopathic manipulative techniques, we utilize small group learning environments while pursuing research, patient safety and quality.
