Responsibilities

Academic HospitalistDesert Valley - Victorville, CALocation: Desert Valley, Victorville, CASchedule: Full-Time, Resident Teaching ResponsibilitiesDesert Valley in Victorville, CA, is seeking a dedicated and passionate Academic Hospitalist Physician to join our team. This unique role combines patient care with the rewarding opportunity to educate and mentor the next generation of physicians.Opportunity Highlights:

    • Will be employed by Desert Valley Medical Group, a multi-specialty group affiliated with Desert Valley Hospital. 
    • Day Shift Hospitalist with Academic opportunity.  
    • Board-Certified in Internal Medicine (required) 
    • Will work with Internal Medicine residents - Responsible for rounding with residents and serving as core faculty for Internal Medicine Residency Program. 
    • Preferably okay doing procedures. 
    • Must be also okay covering some shifts as Primary Care. (preferred) 
    • Open ICU. 
    • Traditional Work Schedule: Monday to Friday (8AM to 5PM) + 1 weekend a month. 
    • The position is in Victorville, CA - around 45 minutes away from Ontario and Rancho Cucamonga, CA. 
    • Base salary starts at $275,000.00/year. 
    • Semi-annual production bonus in addition to base salary. 
    • Sign-On Bonus and Relocation Reimbursement for Full-Time. 
    • Open to J-1 Visa waiver sponsorship (Primary Care shifts required)

Desert Valley Hospital offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. Our Total Rewards package includes, but is not limited to, paid time off, a 401K retirement plan, medical, dental, and vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and many more voluntary benefit options. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is between $275,000. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure
