Job description

We are looking for an Insurance Sales Agent for a health insurance brokerage in Florida. This role will support ACA enrollment initiatives while building a long-term career path through a contract-to-hire opportunity.


Job Logistics

• Schedule:

○ Monday: 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM

○ Tuesday-Thursday: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

○ Half-Day Fridays: 9:00 AM - 1:30 PM

• Office Locations:

• Plantation, FL

• West Palm Beach, FL

• Tampa, FL

• Engagement: Contract-to-Hire

• Work Model: Fully Onsite


Day to Day

• Contact and follow up on leads

• Educate consumers on ACA plans

• Assist with enrollment activities

• Conduct inbound and outbound sales calls

• Maintain CRM activity

• Meet sales goals

• Remain compliant with carrier and federal requirements

• Attend training and team meetings


Requirements

• Active Health Insurance License

• 1+ year sales experience

• Strong communication skills

• Ability to work onsite

• Reliable transportation

• Interested in long-term employment

• Willing to work extended OEP hours

Compensation: $21.33/hr + commission. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
