Job Summary
The Benefits Enrollment Specialist is responsible for assisting employees or clients with enrolling in, updating, and understanding their benefits programs. This role ensures accurate data entry, provides guidance on available benefit options, and delivers excellent customer service while maintaining compliance with company policies and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
  • Guide employees/clients through the benefits enrollment process (health, dental, vision, retirement, etc.)
  • Explain plan options, coverage details, and eligibility requirements in a clear and professional manner
  • Process enrollments, changes, and terminations accurately in payroll and benefits systems
  • Verify and maintain accurate employee benefits records
  • Assist with open enrollment periods, including communication and follow-ups
  • Respond to inquiries via phone, email, or in person regarding benefits plans and claims
  • Coordinate with insurance carriers and internal HR teams to resolve issues
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company regulations
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information
  • Generate reports and track enrollment metrics as needed
