Job description

Salary: $55,000/year

Join a Team That Keeps the Oilfield Moving

Abra Controls is looking for dependable, hands-on Field Service Technicians who enjoy problem-solving, working outdoors, and supporting fast-paced field operations. This role is ideal for someone with an oilfield, industrial, mechanical, instrumentation, or service background who wants meaningful work, variety in their day-to-day schedule, and the opportunity to be part of a supportive team environment.

Whether youre looking to build a long-term career in field operations or youre a semi-retired oilfield professional who still enjoys staying active and involved in the industry, this position offers flexibility, independence, and the chance to work with experienced people who value teamwork and safety.

No two days are exactly the same. Our field technicians support client operations in real time, which means the work is dynamic, responsive, and driven by operational needs. If you enjoy sitting behind a desk or working the exact same schedule every week, this probably isnt the role for you. But if you like staying busy, solving problems, helping customers, and working with a good crew, youll fit right in.

We provide:

  • Hands-on training and mentorship
  • A supportive and team-oriented work environment
  • Opportunities to learn technical equipment and field operations
  • Variety in daily work and job locations
  • Independence and trust in the field
  • A strong safety culture
  • A rotating on-call schedule shared between field staff
