Key Responsibilities

Sales & Patient Experience

  • Drive revenue by maximizing sales opportunities with both walk-ins and scheduled patients.
  • Educate patients on premium lens options andย eyewear upgrades to boost average ticket value.
  • Help implement marketing and outreach strategies to attract new clientele.
  • Monitor and improve KPIs: Average ticket value, capture rate, and patient satisfaction scores.
  • Deliver 5-star service and motivate the team on best practices in optical sales and add-on promotions.

Optical Expertise & Operations

  • Provide expert frame styling, precise measurements, and adjustments to ensure patient satisfaction.
  • Educate patients on lens options (e.g., anti-glare, progressives) to maximize value and satisfaction.
  • Manage daily workflows, including order processing, inventory, and schedule coordination.
  • Manage optical lab orders, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely fulfillment.
  • Maintain strong relationships with patients to encourage repeat visits and referrals.

Leadership & Team Support

  • Act as a key leader in the store, supporting staff and ensuring smooth operations.
  • Oversee daily workflows, including opening/closing, inventory, and doctor schedule management.
  • Serve as the go-to leader when the Market Manager is unavailable.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment and assist withย on-boarding/training.
  • Collaborate with the Doctor and Market Manager to achieve store goals.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of optical or specialty sales experience.ย ABO/NCLE certifications, a plus!
  • Proven ability to meet/exceed sales targets in a customer-facing role.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
  • Valid State Driverโ€™s License and State Minimum insurance coverage.
  • Flexibility to work weekends/evenings as needed.
