The Security Escort will escort skilled trade workers, sub-contractors, new employees and/or visitors in accordance with the customer and company strict security regulations. Additionally, this position will coordinate with the Critical Facility Manager (CFM) and/or Regional Critical Facility Manager (RCFM) to perform administrative duties.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Minimum of one (1) year of escort or security experience.

TSSCI Clearance and polygraph required

Demonstrate strong teamwork and communication skills.

Ability to read, write and speak English

Ability and willingness to complete escort training and maintain customer escort requirements.

Ability to complete and maintain Customer-specific escort requirements.

Ability to deal with a variety of people in a professional, courteous manner in diversified situations.

Mature judgment and ability to work with minimal supervision.

Ability to pass pre-hire background and drug screen.

U.S. citizenship.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide daily security escort services to escort uncleared contractors and visitors.

Escorts shall always maintain visual and auditory contact and control over uncleared individuals being escorted; maintain close proximity to visitors to prevent the intentional or unintentional disclosure of classified information, materials or equipment.

Detect and deter any covert attempt to obtain classified information, material, and equipment; remain alert and awake at all times while carrying out escort duties; and ensure security procedures and regulations are enforced.

Receive, process, and escalate service calls and emergency calls and customer complaints in accordance with approved escalation procedures.

Ensures proper housekeeping practices are strictly adhered to.

Interacts professionally with customers, contractors, vendors, and staff members; maintains effective working relationships in cooperation with the management team to meet the mission objectives of the contract.

Communicates/updates supervisor on progress of jobs being escorted.

Assist the RCFM or CFM with the administrative processing.

Meet safety performance standards.

Work additional hours, as needed.

Perform other job-related duties as assigned or directed.
