Job description

As an Aviation Access Control Agent, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and safety of aircrafts. You will be responsible for implementing access control measures to prevent unauthorized entry into aircrafts, thereby upholding regulatory compliance and safeguarding against potential security threats. Access control agents ensure that the aircraft meets cabin cleanliness standards and maintain security by conducting quality checks, audits, and removing any objects and trash before sealing the doors. They are also perform cleaning tasks. Early shift, 12:00 am - 8:30am. Starting pay $17.00.

Skills and Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in security or aviation-related fields is preferred.

- Proven experience in security, access control, or related fields.

- Knowledge of TSA regulations.

- Ability to operate security screening equipment and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, and lifting.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.

- Ability to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Certification in CPR, First Aid, or other relevant emergency response training.

- Previous experience working in an airport or similar high-security environment.

- Proficiency in using computer systems and security software for access control purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor access points and checkpoints within designated aircraft areas.

- Verify credentials and identification of individuals seeking access to restricted zones.

- Operate security screening equipment and conduct searches as necessary.

- Maintain accurate records of personnel movements and access permissions.

- Respond promptly to security incidents, alarms, and emergencies.

- Collaborate with law enforcement and airport authorities during security breaches or threats.

- Conduct regular patrols and inspections of access control points.

- Provide exceptional customer service to airport employees, contractors, and visitors.
