Student Position: Aspire Business Clinic
Department: Robert W. Plaster School of Business
Rate of Pay: 2026/27 Academic Year $15 Per Hour
Location: Columbia College
Type: Student Employment, Part-time
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Purpose/ Job Summary:
Aspire Business Clinic (ABC) is seeking a student employee to assist in operations for ABC. Duties will include, but not limited to, assisting the ABC Director in new client intake meetings, developing and managing project timelines for ABC clients, and coordinating outreach to potential ABC Clients.
Essential Functions:
Work collaboratively inside a project team to develop actionable solutions.
Be present & contribute to all project team meetings
Complete work assigned by the ABC Director or RWPSOB faculty member assigned to oversee the project.
Maintain professional & positive communication with the ABC clients.
Ensure the final solution developed for a client is at the highest competence level possible.
Participate in ABC meetings.
Ability to attend meetings outside of normal business hours (9am-5pm) on occasion to meet ABC client needs, particularly in-person meetings. Interns would be provided with advanced notice of meetings as much as possible by the ABC Director.
Qualifications:
Ability to fluently read, write, and understand the English language, one year's experience with CSMAC, graphic design and social media experience, and excellent organizational and communication skills. Applicants must be current Columbia College students, with junior or senior standing preferred. There is only one Student Marketing Project Manager, and applications are accepted until the position is filled.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time, and talk or hear. The employee must lift, carry and move a minimum of pounds on an occasional basis. Must be able to type on a computer keyboard and use a computer monitor on a frequent and regular basis.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is rarely exposed to outside weather conditions; however, possible exposure to hazards and physical risks to personal safety may occur while operating certain equipment. The noise level in the work environment is usually mild.
