Job description

We are seeking a highly experienced Solution Architect – Patient Solutions (AbbVie Experience Preferred) IN Chicago IL

to lead the design and implementation of patient solution systems within a pharmaceutical or life sciences environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, .NET, TIBCO, API integrations, and Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). Prior experience at AbbVie with is preferred. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions for patient engagement platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, developers, and product owners to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Lead integration efforts across Salesforce Marketing Cloud, AEM, .NET services, and TIBCO middleware.
  • Design and manage API strategies for seamless data exchange across platforms.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and regulatory standards (HIPAA, GDPR, etc.).
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams.

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ Years of overall experience
  • 5+ years of experience as a Solution Architect in enterprise environments.
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Salesforce Marketing Cloud
    • .NET Framework / .NET Core
    • TIBCO (BusinessWorks, EMS, etc.)
    • RESTful APIs and integration patterns
    • Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
  • Previous experience at AbbVie 
  • Strong understanding of patient engagement systems and healthcare/life sciences domain.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
